This role focuses on helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, safety, and overall functional independence while maintaining accurate documentation and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.ResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the patient's Plan of Care.Monitor and document patient progress toward established goals.Educate patients and family members on exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention.Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.Collaborate with nurses, therapists, caregivers, physicians, and office staff to ensure coordinated patient care.Follow Medicare, state, and company regulations and standards.Promote patient safety and maintain the highest level of professionalism during all home visits.QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current Florida PTA license in good standing.Current CPR certification.Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently while managing a flexible schedule.Home health experience preferred, but not required.What We OfferFlexible scheduling.Competitive pay.Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment.Opportunity to help build a growing Skilled Home Health division.Meaningful one-on-one patient care.Mileage reimbursement (if applicable).Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Why Senior Helpers?At Senior Helpers, we believe our employees are our greatest asset.
