Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 1-2 years of experience required.

Unit Details: - Serves all ages. - Common diagnosis/treatment includes post-op orthopedic procedures and total joints.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend/as needed. - On-call as needed. - Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns, including weekends and holidays.

Floating Requirements: - Floating as needed; may require travel within a 25-mile radius of the facility.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• HWC (Handle With Care)
