Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring VA or compact RN licensure and 1-2 years of ER experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a full-service acute-care hospital with 34 beds
• Patient population includes all ages with common diagnoses including chest pain, CHF, COPD, and psychiatric conditions
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Uses Medhost EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required on an every-other-weekend basis
• Call requirements are as needed
• Floating required as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, and PALS or ENPC
• 1-2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
• Emergency Room experience required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages with a variety of acute conditions
• Work as part of a professional, positive, and compassionate team in a fast-paced ER environment
• Any scrub color is acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates cannot have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
