Job Description

We are seeking a Travel RN specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our dedicated team. The selected candidate will work in a high-acuity environment providing care for patients during labor and delivery. Our unit is equipped with advanced technology and staffed with a collaborative team committed to delivering optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Perform assessments and monitor the progression of labor.
• Assist in vaginal and cesarean deliveries.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize electronic medical records (Meditech/CPN) for patient documentation.
• Participate in the education of the patient and their family regarding the birthing process.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care experience in Labor & Delivery.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN certification.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred.
• PACU and OR experience is a plus.
