Irrigation Tech

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our Maintenance Division. This role involves diagnosing and repairing irrigation system components including controllers, valves, wiring, piping, sprinkler heads, and backflow preventers. Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in the field. Job Details Job Type: Full‑time Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair irrigation systems. Read and interpret zone maps, plans, and schematics. Train and support technician trainees as needed. Maintain accurate daily documentation (timecards, reports). Provide professional, on‑site service to clients across multiple locations. Perform outdoor physical labor in varying weather conditions. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent (or 6+ months of relevant experience). Solid understanding of irrigation systems and tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. JS‑6 certification required within one year of hire. Conversational Spanish is a plus. Physical Demands Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Regular bending, kneeling, digging, and walking. Work in outdoor environments, including hot, cold, wet, or uneven conditions.
