Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional physical therapy services to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and quality of life
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress accurately and timely
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
- Supervise therapy assistants and support staff as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania or compact privilege eligible
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or MPT)
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience in SNF or geriatric setting is a plus but not required
- Must have current BLS certification
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or MPT)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with EMR systems preferred
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
