L&D Director – Labor & Delivery

Schedule: 8 Hour Days

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

Must have active nursing license
Certifications: Fetal heart monitoring, NRP, ACLS, BLS
Minimum experience: 5 years as staff RN, 2 years as Director

Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee the operations and staff of the Labor & Delivery unit.
Ensure high standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Manage budgeting and resource allocation for the unit.
Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.
Facilitate training and development opportunities for unit personnel.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
