Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.

Active California PT license required to start the assignment.

BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Minimum 1 year of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience. NO NEW GRADUATES. (Preferred: experience evaluating, developing, and implementing outpatient treatment plans and goals.)

Experience with outpatient documentation systems, including timely evaluation notes, goal writing, quality indicators, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.

Demonstrated ability to supervise or provide direction to therapy aides or support staff and to participate in student clinical education when assigned.

Ability to perform safe patient handling and follow infection control, materials handling, and workplace safety procedures.

Maintains professional licensure in good standing and completes state-mandated continuing education.

Assignment Details

Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5x8 schedule.

Duration: 13 week assignment.

Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other clinic locations as needed.
