**Exciting Opportunity for an Occupational Therapist in Acute Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Occupational Therapist - **Specialty:** OT Acute Care Hospital - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:00) - **Years of Experience Required:** 1 year - **Certifications:** WA LIC (required) - **Charting System:** Epic (preferred) - **Travel Experience Required:** No **Work Environment:** - Float between diverse units, including Acute Care, Medical, ICU, and Inpatient Rehabilitation. - Engage with a supportive and close-knit team of professionals. **Skills and Experiences:** - Preferred Skills: - Edema Massage - Kinesiotaping - Prosthetics/Orthotics - Functional splints - Orthoplast - Static splints **Patient Demographics:** - Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics - Diagnoses Include: - Multi-trauma - Traumatic Injuries - Spinal Cord Injuries - Cerebrovascular Accidents - Surgical clients - Orthopedic cases - Parkinson's Disease - Multiple Sclerosis **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate and treat patients across various units, adapting to their unique needs. - Conduct assessments for acute and chronic disorders. - Foster a friendly and outgoing rapport with patients and team members. - Expect to manage 8-9 patients per day. **Work Expectations:** - Must be flexible and a team player, ready to assist with additional patient needs. - Participate in weekend rotations (1 weekend every 4 weeks). - Maintain excellent time management skills in a dynamic environment. **Additional Requirements:** - Ability to work independently and efficiently. - Must be self-driven and willing to pick up extra patients in alignment with productivity standards. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
