Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital position at a Level III Trauma Center, requiring active WA licensure and a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
• OT Acute Care unit with floating required between all facilities within the state
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Weekend rotation required on a 6-week basis
• Patient ratio of 1:10
• Charting via Epic EMR
• On-call is not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Washington State OT license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
• Acute care experience is a hard requirement
• Inpatient rehabilitation (IPR) experience is strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Additional Information

• First-time travelers with qualifying acute care experience will be considered
• Candidates must be willing to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer RTO requests may be denied
• Scrubs of any color are accepted
• No parking fee at this facility
