**Exciting Opportunity for an Occupational Therapist in Acute Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** Occupational Therapist - **Specialty:** OT Acute Care Hospital - **Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:00) - **Years of Experience Required:** 1 year(s) in OT with acute care experience - **Charting System:** Epic (preferred) - **Travel Experience:** No travel experience required - **Certifications:** WA LIC (required) **Key Skills & Experience:** - Experience in diverse work settings including: - Acute Care - Adult Rehabilitation Facility - **Preferred Skills:** - Edema Massage - Kinesiotaping - Prosthetics/Orthotics - Functional splints - Orthoplast - Static splints **Patient Care:** - Provide care to diverse patient groups: - Adults - Geriatrics - Treat various diagnoses such as: - Multi-trauma - TII (Traumatic Injury) - SCI (Spinal Cord Injury) - CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) - Surgical and orthopedic cases - Parkinson's, MS, and more **Role Expectations:** - Float between different units: Acute, Medical, ICU, and Inpatient Rehab - Conduct assessments for acute and chronic disorders - Collaborate as a team member and manage time effectively - Flexibility to pick up extra patients as needed to meet productivity standards **Work Environment:** - Join a fun and close-knit team that values friendliness and outgoing personalities - Enjoy a supportive atmosphere in a small rural hospital - Experience hands-on opportunities in the ICU, Medical, Surgery, and Inpatient Rehab Facility **Additional Information:** - No on-call requirement - Rotating weekend shifts every 6 weeks - Expected patient care ratio: 1:10 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
