The Shelton Public School system has a vacancy for a BOARD CERTIFIED BEHAVIOR ANALYST (BCBA) Location: Districtwide
Start Date: August 25, 2026 Please see attached job description. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in psychology, applied behavior analysis or related field, and BCBA certification
- Previous experience as a behavior analyst working with students preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of and thorough adherence to applicable ethical codes.
- Knowledge of school district operations and special education programming preferred.
- Ability to travel to multiple schools and offices during the work day.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze student data as a means for making decisions.
- Demonstrated responsibility for self-growth, professional improvement, ongoing self-reflection and self-evaluation.
- Demonstrated ability in the effective use of technology.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships.
- Superior organizational, oral and written communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated commitment to the department team concept and the overall success of the organization.
