Click here to access.Time Type:Full timeRemote Type:Job Family Group:SalesJob Description Summary:The Director, Trade Development is responsible for overseeing the assigned Business Management team and nurtures Trade Development Ways of Working (WoW). Masters the 5 Core Competencies: business planning, performance evaluation, product and inventory management, pricing and revenue management, demand planning/ forecasting/ budgeting. Responsible for embracing and developing behaviors consistent with BBG’s Trade Development mission. Must always adhere to the established business rules. Must embrace and support BBG’s Reliability Model. Serves as the local market expert on customers, brands, key sales drivers, trends and market dynamics.Job Description:Job Responsibilities:Provide oversite regarding Trade Development Ways of Working (WoW) around core competencies.Lead direct reports effectively by clearly communicating roles and responsibilities, expectations, and deliverables.Ensure timely delivery of all materials and communication.Collaborate with key suppliers to drive consistent Ways of Working within the Trade Development modelWorks cross-functionally with key stakeholders: Sales, Revenue Management, Demand Planning, Finance to ensure business plan is achieved.Deliver BBG budgeted objectives.Hire, train and develop Trade team.Act as local commodity expert as assigned.Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experienceMinimum of 7 years’ experience in sales, trade marketing, management or trade developmentAdvanced PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation softwareMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skillsAbility to motivate and develop a teamDemonstrate and exhibit high levels of professionalismDemonstrate sound judgment and problem-solving skillsInteract positively with internal and external individualsStrong business planning and collaboration skillsStrong sales, finance, budget management, negotiation and management skillsAbility to translate Strategy into relevant marketplace activityAbility to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environmentMust be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, discretion as well as customer service skillsPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephoneThis job description is only a summary of the typical functions of this position, not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible job responsibilities, tasks and duties.
