You must apply by 11:59 PM prior to the posted closing date.Position will serve as Program Coordinator II providing technical and administrative support for construction project documentation and compliance in the District Drive Resident Engineer’s Office. Duties include processing monthly and final estimates, checking calculations, resolving pay record and material quantity discrepancies, researching project documents, processing material prepayment, assisting with project meetings, and tracking Technician Certifications to ensure they are kept current, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.• Selected applicant must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.The program area for this position includes one or more of the following: working knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, experience processing invoices/payments, and/or experience resolving record discrepancies.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesSalary Grade and Salary Range: NC10 / $43,267 - $75,718Management prefers applicants with the following:Working knowledge and skill in the use of computer equipment, software and mathematical functions.Experience completing and/or maintaining records and reportsExperience reviewing detailed documents and records for accuracy and completenessDemonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision and prioritize daily tasksGeneral knowledge of state and/or federal rules and regulations to determine complianceMinimum Education and ExperienceSome state job postings say you can qualify by an “equivalent combination of education and experience.” If that language appears below, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both.
