Currently, we have an immediate full-time opening for an experienced Overhead Crane Operator position on 2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Training to take place on 1st shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

Essential Job Functions:

• Understands and performs the loading of coils on coil carts and surrounding area
• Understands the movements of cranes with or without loads
• Understands tow motor safety, receiving paperwork, shipping manifest, color coding coils, and raw material tagging
• Generates manifests, bar code labels
• Accuracy is a must

Other Duties as Needed:

• Understands the importance of correct packaging: operates bander and shrink wrapper
• Completes rework in a timely manner, follows directions, understands paperwork
• Safely operates a tow motor
• Assists with set-ups
• Understands customer concerns and the importance of visual inspection at the press

Job Requirements:

• Previous overhead crane operator experience required.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen initially and thereafter if selected for a random drug screen
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with others
• Basic math skills required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work overtime
• Requires repetitive, continuous movement
• Report to work each day, on time, as scheduled.

**Salary: **From $18.00 per hour or higher based on experience
