Job Number: R0243429 Asset Manager, Mid The Opportunity An effective program requires exceptional management of assets for success. We are looking for an experienced asset manager passionate about managing logistics throughout the lifecycle of the asset, whether it be software or hardware. This role requires a professional dedicated to identifying challenges, driving ROI, and maintaining a high attention to detail. What You’ll Work On Produce and distribute monthly deployed asset reports to government. Conduct physical and virtual inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure inventory levels are accurate and up to date. Participate with other IT organizations to ensure accurate asset inventory and storage. Perform accurate data entry, maintain inventory records, and produce reporting and analytics as directed. Assist with lifecycle replacement of IT assets. Transport materials to and from storage areas safely and efficiently. Maintain the Asset Inventory, including additions, changes, deletions, and status updates to the Asset Database. Support and reconcile asset information with the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Perform packaging, receiving, shipping, and disposal of assets in accordance with Security and Asset Management policies and procedures. Set and define a comprehensive Asset Management Strategy with the customer, including goals, objectives, and KPIs. Recommend and support development, maintenance, and updates for approved policies and procedures for effective asset lifecycle management. Drive ROI and efficiency strategy through effective analytics, reporting, acquisition strategy, licensing, and process discipline. Be responsible for compliance with security policies and standards for IT assets. Recommend and maintain approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement. Ensure IT Asset Management deliverables are delivered on time and accurately. Oversee shipping and disposal processes and execution. Be responsible for physical and virtual audits, including RCA for noncompliance, action plans, and continuous improvement actions for technology, process, and people. You Have 6+ years of experience with government IT asset management. Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel. Experience contributing to an ITSM platform transition. TS/SCI clearance. High School diploma or GED. Nice If You Have Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Licensing. Experience supporting an enterprise-level IT contract in a DoD organization. Experience with Remedy or ServiceNow. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills. Master’s degree. IAT Level II Certification. ITIL Foundations v4 Certification or intermediate/advanced ITIL certifications such as ITIL Managing Professional. Clearance Applicants must have TS/SCI clearance and be subject to a security investigation. Compensation Annual salary range: $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (USD).
