Position Title Wheelchair Van Driver Employment Type Full‑time contract (requires clean background, driving record and 23+ years of age) About the Role We’re looking for dedicated drivers to join our team and help make a difference in people’s lives. As a Wheelchair Van Driver, you’ll safely transport patients to and from their homes, medical appointments, dialysis treatments, and hospital discharges. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing excellent service, enjoys working with people, and values safety and reliability. What We Offer Competitive Pay Annual salary $50,000–$65,000 Starting hourly $16.50–$18.00 Weekly pay, frequent overtime opportunities Discretionary bonuses Tip income potential from private‑pay clients Benefits Package Health insurance (50% company‑paid) Dental & vision insurance Short‑ and long‑term disability Life insurance Your Responsibilities Safely transport clients and assist them in and out of the vehicle Ensure wheelchairs and passengers are properly secured before driving Provide courteous, professional support to clients and caregivers during trips Keep vehicles clean inside and out (car washing membership provided) Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using company software Follow all company safety protocols and policies Stay connected with dispatch and adapt to changing schedules Represent the company with a positive, helpful attitude at all times Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, pull, and assist clients as needed Comfortable with bending, reaching, and extended driving What We’re Looking For A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Must pass pre‑employment drug screen, background check, and MVR screening Dependability: on‑time, in uniform, and ready to work Patience, professionalism, and calmness in emergencies Flexibility for rotating weekends, holidays, and occasional on‑call shifts Willingness to drive in all‑weather conditions Why Join H&M Transport?
