Principal Program ManagerLocation: Hanscom AFB, MASalary Range: $150,000 - $166,000 annually depending on experience, certifications, and qualificationsJob Status: Full-time; salariedClearance: Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to TSAstrion has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Program Manager providing support to the Command, Control, Communications (C3C)/Kessel Run Division, which is located at Hanscom AFB, MA.Kessel Run is an Air Force unit that delivers resilient command and control and targeting software capabilities that provide warfighters with decision advantage. Under the Department of the Air Force Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communication, and Battle Management (DAF PEO C3BM), Kessel Run technologies make up the DAF BATTLE NETWORK, the systems-of-systems designed to help the Joint Force make operational decisions faster than our adversaries.This is a full time position directly supporting the Kessel Run Program Executive Group (PEG)Must have an active Secret clearance and have the ability to upgrade to TS.Minimum Required Qualifications / SkillsEducation:Master's Degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoDOR, Bachelor's Degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoDTechnical SkillsKnowledge of DoDI 5000.02 and 5000.75 acquisition processesExperience supporting acquisition lifecycle management activitiesFamiliarity with cloud-based systems and cloud cost/performance managementFamiliarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and DevOps principlesExperience supporting acquisition reporting, risk management, and milestone review activitiesExperience using Microsoft Office and DoD acquisition systems including IDECS, EDA, and CCaRInterpersonal SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively with Government personnel, contractors, and Integrated Product TeamsResponsibilities Duties include, but not limited to:Have the DoD acquisition experience necessary to provide a wide range of acquisition support services.Assist with the management of data collection, inputs, processing and tracking for the Integrated Product Team (IPT), Branch, and Division managers.Assist with the consolidation of information into draft reports and briefings as required.Assist with preparing spreadsheets, briefings, figures, graphics, tables, forms and papers, providing finished products (technical and non-technical)Assist with the planning and drafting of the Monthly Acquisition Report (MAR).Assist with consolidating information for, generating charts, and facilitating staff meetings for senior program management. Charts include data from various tracking systems (Top issues, suspense's, etc.).Provide administrative and operational support to government leadership and acquisition program teams.Maintain leadership awareness of mission-critical issues, priorities, and organizational initiatives.Prepare correspondence, reports, briefing materials, and official documents for leadership review and signature.Provide expert acquisition and program management guidance to PEG Chief. Branch Leadership and KR Program ManagersAdvise PMs on best-practice program management principles to improve processes, increase efficiency, and achieve cost avoidanceSupport life-cycle logistics considerations and operational supportability planning.
