With a footprint in over 120 countries and a dedication to quality accessible education, Westcliff University is seeking Adjunct Assistant Professors to teach undergraduate, masters and doctoral courses for the College of Business.Job Description:Reviewing and managing your syllabus and corresponding materialsFacilitating class instruction utilizing your experience and passion for your fieldTeaching your assigned classes in accordance with Westcliff University's learning objectives and session plan outlinesAdministering evaluations of student performance based on course deliverables and rubricsPosting course grades on our Learning Management System (LMS)Responding promptly to grade determination and providing detailed timely feedbackSubmitting grades for assignments, discussion board exercises, exams and discussions promptlyParticipating in Faculty Senate, programmatic development and committee workAdhering to Westcliff University protocolsOther duties as assignedRequirements:Doctoral degree from a regionally or internationally accredited institution in or closely related to your fieldWill consider Doctorate degrees in progress, provided the candidate has at least 15 credits in the specialism they wish to teachExperience teaching online, on-campus, or in hybrid formatFive years experience teaching at the university level in your disciplineDemonstrated commitment to teaching students from diverse ethnic and cultural backgroundsWeekdays: Monday – Friday; 6:30 P.M. thru 10:00 P.M. (courses meet 1x per week for 8 weeks and for 3.5 hours at the Irvine campus).Weekdays: Monday – Friday; 6:00 P.M. thru 9:30 P.M.
