Consumer Lending Services PositionPosition provides consumer lending services to customers. Responsibilities also include overseeing branch facilities and security issues.Duties And Responsibilities:Perform consumer lending duties by originating and/or renewing loans, performing thorough review and credit analysis of applicant/borrower's financial condition and ability to repay the loan, performing an evaluation of loan structure, assist to perform duties related to renegotiation of changes to loan, maintaining contact with individuals involved with loans in process, assist with administration of loans, and work with borrowers on collections of past dues and delinquent loans.Administer the loan to include overdraft monitoring, field audits and inspections, financial statement analysis, review and monitor compliance to the loan agreements. Perform periodic review of loan documentation and collateral evaluation.Contact and/or work with collectors to resolve past dues and delinquencies. Comply with the initiation of watch-listed credit that represents deterioration from the original repayment terms.Initiate current and potential customer contacts and participate in community organizations as a representative of the bank to enhance the bank's image. Attend manager/sales meetings to keep apprised of issues, concerns, and loan production/products, and to report on activities/calls.Responsible for the general maintenance of the branch and that the area is clear of all physical impediments for the safety and security of customers, employees, and the branch assets. Ensure that all security procedures are strictly followed.Effectively address and resolve customer inquiries and problems to ensure they are handled in an efficient and expedient manner. Responsible for ensuring compliance with the Division Security Program.Essential Functions:Must comply with all company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control. Maintain strict confidentiality of customer's personal and financial information.Develop and improve skills through training programs and regular feedback discussions with supervisors which help further professional development. Participate in all training sessions and complete all assigned OnCourse compliance courses and achieve a passing score by due date.Adhere to First Security Bank's core values; represent the bank in a professional manner which includes a professional image, confidentiality, positive 'can-do' attitude, good attendance, punctuality, flexibility, and adaptability in meeting internal and external customer needs.Display excellent customer service with both internal and external clients. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.Must possess current valid driver's license.Position is required to register and maintain current Mortgage Loan Originator registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) as required by law.Knowledge, Skill, Ability:Working knowledge of standard office equipment. Skills in areas related to computer operation/use including working knowledge of Microsoft applications and ability to learn new systems/applications.Communicate Effectively: both verbally and in writing with others in a clear, thorough, and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques. Demonstrate soft phone skills by treating all customers in a polite and courteous manner.
