We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to service a mixed fleet of vehicles including larger trucks and buses. This role requires expertise in diesel engine repair, vehicular generators, and preventive maintenance. The position offers full-time hours, generous compensation, and the opportunity to work both independently and within a small team.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines for a mixed fleet
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles and generators
- Repair and maintain vehicular generators
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Replace worn or faulty parts as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Document repairs, maintenance actions, and parts usage
- Support a small team while working independently when required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in diesel mechanics
