Senior Accountant

A wonderful private company is looking to build out their Finance back-office by finding a Senior Accountant to partner with their CPA Controller. Analysis and Accounting responsibilities as well as process improvement around AI, ERP (Sage/Netsuite Ideal), and executive projects. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. Responsibilities Reconcilations, A/P, A/R, General Ledger Accounting, Monthend Close Corporate FInance (Budgeting/forecasting) M&A Assistance and integrations Special Projects related to ERP, AI, and Operational Analysis. Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes Research and analyze expense variances for company management Qualifications 2-5 years' of professional accounting experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience CPA preferred Must be able to get to Catonsville. #J-18808-Ljbffr
