Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse role involves providing a range of nursing care in a unique outpatient facility, from minor treatments to managing acutely ill patients. Responsibilities include performing accurate triages, administering medications, wound care, splinting, EKG monitoring, and preparing procedures such as I&D, sutures, and lumbar punctures. The nurse must communicate effectively with team members and patients, delegate duties appropriately, and utilize organizational software for record management. Supporting facility leadership and adhering to information security policies are essential. Qualifications Associate's degree Minimum of 3+ years' recent experience in a Critical Care setting, with at least two years in an Emergency Room environment. Less experience may be considered with an internal recommendation. Active Florida RN license or compact license with Florida authorization (must convert within 60 days) ACLS and PALS certifications Skills And Abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Physical stamina for standing, walking, lifting, and performing duties over a 12-hour shift Effective communication and teamwork skills Additional Information Preferred experience in ER settings Locations include Tampa area (Palm Harbor, Largo, St. Petersburg) Schedule involves three shifts per week, including every other weekend, with hours from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays and 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on weekends #J-18808-Ljbffr Health Marketing
