What You'll Do

As a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) , you'll support residents by safely administering medications and providing compassionate care that promotes independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities include:

• Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Support individualized care plans that promote resident health and independence
• Monitor resident needs and communicate important updates to the care team
• Encourage resident participation in social activities and community events
• Help create a safe, supportive, and dignified living environment
• Provide compassionate assistance while respecting each resident's preferences and needs

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification in South Dakota required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and team members
