Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) And Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) Clinical Supervisor

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director of the Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital Division of Infant, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (ICAP) this position, held by Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Staff Psychologist or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, will provide direct care and clinical supervision of clinical staff ensuring high quality evidence-based care, adherence to best practices and compliance with regulatory standards in adolescent mental health intensive treatment. The incumbent is responsible for providing individual, group and family psychotherapy services to teens and families enrolled in IOP or PHP.

The incumbent is also responsible for providing clinical supervision of Clinical Social Workers, Social Work Associates, Navigators and Peer staff in collaboration with IOP-PHP Director, and team lead Psychiatrist. Supervision of staff includes providing oversight of billing, charting, as well as quality and efficacy of services. This position reports directly to the IOP-PHP Clinical Director. The incumbent is essential for managing personnel, ensuring that clinical staff are well-trained, supported, and compliant with industry standards to deliver high-quality patient care. Duties include oversight of the quality of clinical services provided by the staff, as well training, supervision, and evaluation of staff.

Assist with conducting staff/team meetings and trainings, and clinical presentations or conferencing. Supports with the design and implementation of program interventions. Provides direct clinical supervision of clinical staff in the provision of ongoing mental health services including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, case management, and outreach to clients and carry a caseload. This position is 100% on-site. As an employee of UCSF and contractor with the City of San Francisco, this position is an essential worker and will continue to support and provide direct service during a natural disaster and or pandemic.

The salary range for this position is $113,800 - $178,300 (Annual Rate).
