Experience working in a senior living, assisted living, skilled nursing, or healthcare environment required Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Knowledge of housekeeping, laundry, sanitation, and infection-prevention practices. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards. Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable. Professional, dependable, and resident‑focused approach. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the daily operations of the Environmental Services, Housekeeping, and Laundry departments. Supervise, train, coach, and schedule environmental services team members. Ensure all areas of the community are maintained in a clean, sanitary, safe, and orderly condition. Establish and maintain housekeeping, laundry, and sanitation standards and procedures. Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms, common areas, dining areas, and other community spaces. Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of cleaning, laundry, and environmental supplies. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to environmental services. Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with Maintenance and other departments to address facility and environmental concerns. Respond promptly to resident and family concerns regarding housekeeping, laundry, or cleanliness. Develop and maintain departmental schedules and staffing plans. Monitor departmental expenses and assist with budget management. Promote infection prevention and proper sanitation practices throughout the community.
