Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and in-depth medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work intimately with surgeons to develop and implement targeted surgical treatment plans
• Provide critical intraoperative support, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring patient safety and positioning, and exchanging instruments during operations
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations focusing on surgical practice is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
