Key Responsibilities

• Administer thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive physical examinations and an in-depth review of medical histories
• Contribute to the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing the operating room, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments with efficiency
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication management, wound treatment, discharge planning, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations strongly preferred with a focus on surgical care

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification needed
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
