We're rapidly scaling this impact: today, more than 2 million Verkada devices are deployed across 170+ countries.About the RoleThe Global Sourcing team is responsible for all direct procurement associated with our Hardware. Our scope includes all aspects of cost management from FATP to sub-tier supply chain suppliers as well as testing, certification, OPEX and CAPEX. Additionally we are the primary commercial relationship owner and manage all contracts. We leverage a fast paced dynamic development environment with first generation products typically moving from concept to customer delivery quickly. Many work streams are done in parallel across all teams to ensure high quality products are brought to market as soon as possible. As a Global Sourcing Specialist Intern, you will support direct sourcing strategy and execution for a product line. This includes negotiating contracts, costs (BOM, MVA, Capex, Opex) for both system level and some individual commodities. You will interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders to bring products to market including finding, qualifying, and managing suppliers. We are committed to a thriving in-office culture.
