Job Title: Sustainment/Pre-Production Lead (EMU/EMF)
Location/Worksite: NMRLC Cheatham Annex, Williamsburg, VA Travel: As required Status: Full-Time, Contingent Upon Contract Award Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain Government background investigation and CAC Date Added: April 9, 2026 Job Summary The Sustainment / Pre-Production Lead oversees pre-production and sustainment operations to maintain EXMED platforms in a Ready-For-Issue condition in support of mission requirements. Duties and Responsibilities• Lead pre-production operations supporting EXMED platform readiness.
• Plan and execute material pulls, preparation, pre-labeling, and stowage.
• Coordinate material staging to support scheduled and surge production.
• Execute sustainment activities including replacement of expired items and maintenance of configuration integrity.
• Kit late-arriving material following initial production cycles.
• Identify and resolve material discrepancies including shortages and overages.
• Lead assigned personnel and ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Use authorized logistics systems to track pre-production and sustainment actions.
• Operate and oversee material handling equipment safely.
• Coordinate with Production, Inventory, Shelf-Life, and Government personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety, handling, and operational requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Required Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Experience leading sustainment and pre-production operations supporting production and kitting activities. Specialized Experience: Demonstrated ability to resolve configuration discrepancies and maintain Ready-For-Issue platforms. Certifications: Valid U.S. driver's license.
