Medical AssistantHourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Primary Location: Bannockburn, ILFull Time/Part Time: Per Diem (as needed)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30AM-5:00PMRequired Travel: Float to support clinical operations across all Pulmonary Sites: Bannockburn, Skokie, Glenview, Evanston & ChicagoWhat You Will Do:Greet patients and escort them to exam roomDocument vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visitPerform basic vitals such as blood pressure, height and weightProvide front office support as neededPhlebotomy and giving injections varies based on the specialtyWhat You Will Need:Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.Certification: CPR-BLS certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred, but not required.Experience: One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred.
