Maintenance Mechanic

Overview Maintenance Mechanic Department: Operations Reports to: Maintenance Superintendent Scope: To adjust, install, maintain and repair all equipment, machinery and plant facilities Responsibilities Basic Mechanical Knowledge Able to Operate Shop Machinery Able to Operate Machine Shop Equipment Knowledge of, and ability to implement, and/or Repair: Electrical, preferred not required Pipe Fitting & Plumbing Welding Hydraulic Pneumatics Automatic Equipment Operation (setup, repair and rear down) Must know Shop Mathematics Interpret Drawings Read and Understand Schematics. All Other Duties as assigned by Management. Qualifications and Requirements Energetic and Positive Team Player Who Encourages Others and takes Pride in the Company Must have good communications skills (both written & oral) Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and climb. Bi-Lingual a plus Fork-lift Experience, preferred Education/Skills: High School Diploma or GED Required 5-year experience in related field, preferred Details of Employment 90 Day Probation Period At Will Employment Dress Appropriate to Position - See Supervisor Slip Resistant Shoes are required in All Manufacturing Locations Must Participate and Comply with All Company Policies Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
