Position RN – West End Primary Care (1.0 FTE) – Billings Clinic (BILLINGS CLINIC WEST END) Shift and Employment Shift: Day, Weekends Employment Status: Full‑time (.75 or greater) Hours per Pay Period: 1.00 = 80 hours every two weeks (Non‑Exempt) Starting Wage (DOE): $30.53 - $38.16 Job Summary Under general supervision, the RN utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, and maintains the quality of nursing care. The RN promotes a holistic, evidence‑based approach, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and directs patient care plans while upholding professionalism. Essential Job Functions Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct, and service expectations. Maintains competency in organizational, departmental, and external standards related to environment, employee, patient safety, and job performance. Utilizes a holistic approach and evidence‑based nursing practices; integrates the nursing process into goal‑directed patient care plans. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team to execute appropriate plans of care. Plans, organizes, implements, evaluates/triages and documents safe patient care in accordance with Billings Clinic and departmental standards. Adheres to safety standards, policies and procedures; anticipates, identifies and initiates action for problems and safety issues. Maintains departmental skill and knowledge with relevant equipment, pharmacology, and laboratory values. Applies performance‑improvement principles to assess and improve patient care quality; incorporates the Magnet Model into work environment and quality of nursing care. Takes responsibility for personal professional growth and development needs; meets educational requirements. Demonstrates collaborative, supportive, and caring behaviors in communication with patients, families, visitors, and team. Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet departmental or organizational needs. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate (or Diploma) RN with less than 5 years of experience must commit to completing a Bachelor of Nursing degree within 4 years of hire date. Certifications and Licenses Healthcare Provider CPR Certification required. Current Montana or Wyoming state license as a registered nurse required.
