Commercial Carpenter

R.C. Griffin, LLC is hiring an experienced Commercial Carpenter to join our growing team.

For over 50 years, R.C. Griffin, LLC has been a trusted General Contracting and Construction Management company serving Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. We specialize in commercial, healthcare, educational, retail, and tenant fit-out projects, delivering quality craftsmanship with a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform commercial rough and finish carpentry.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents.
• Install metal and wood framing, drywall, doors, frames, hardware, ceilings, millwork, and finish trim.
• Complete layout, blocking, demolition, and general carpentry tasks.
• Work closely with project supervisors and subcontractors to maintain project schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
• Follow OSHA regulations and all R.C. Griffin, LLC safety policies.
• Deliver quality workmanship while working in occupied facilities, including medical and commercial environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial carpentry experience preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with commercial renovations, tenant fit-outs, and occupied-space projects.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 Certification required (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical construction work.
