Job Summary:
Psychiatric Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing high-quality mental health care to patients within a dynamic psychiatric setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring safety and well-being in a fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility, compassionate patient interactions, and adherence to clinical standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/06/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license, 1-3 years of nursing experience working with children and adolescents preferred, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required. Graduate of an approved Nursing program; licensure hits will not be considered.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level Experience (levels 1, 2, and 3), Teaching Hospital Experience, EMR experience with Epic.
• Additional Information: Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius. Professional must be a responsible, supportive team player capable of working well in high-stress situations. Up to 16 hours of orientation are unpaid. Position may be canceled for up to three shifts during a 13-week contract.
