Job Summary:
A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) RN position is available in Lewiston, Maine. This role involves providing specialized care for neonates and managing obstetrical patients, including use of external fetal heart monitoring and postpartum procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

• Certifications: NRP (REQUIRED), BLS (REQUIRED), ACLS (REQUIRED)
• Experience: 2+ years in labor and delivery, labor, delivery, postpartum (L&D, LDRP, and PP care)
• Equipment: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), IV, Radiant Warmers, Thermoregulation systems, and more
• EMR: Cerner, PowerChart, Omnicell Medication System
• Job Types: Neonates & Adults patient population
• Number of Openings: 1
• Required skills include managing a three-couplet assignment, triage of obstetrical patients, and postpartum care procedures.
• Additional preferred qualifications include intermediate level certification from the Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN).
• Candidates must be able to perform tasks such as administering antihypertensives and insulin drips, assisting with vaginal and C-section deliveries, newborn assessments, epidural anesthesia management, and postpartum procedures.
