Production Supervisor

Responsibilities Responsible for overseeing business operations in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met Delegating tasks to team members and resolving issues that arise during their shift Managing inventory and coordinating employee responsibilities to enhance efficiency Assign team members tasks to complete each shift, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards Set performance metrics for team members and collaborate to ensure all metrics are met Resolve problems and troubleshoot issues promptly, prioritizing safety and quality without the need for management direction Report to the Production Manager and meet with management to review goals, metrics, and safety and quality performance Maintain a work environment that meets company, state, and federal safety and employment guidelines Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and quality control measures Oversee timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies Foster employee development through training and mentorship programs Requirements HS Diploma and GED with Minimum of 5 years of directly related manufacturing experience; Engineering Degree would be a plus Complete understanding of food processing Experience Developing SOP’s and work instructions Strong leadership skills, with at least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership/influencer role Demonstrated project management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Must be able to work independently and with teams Knowledge of environmental, code and safety regulations on the Federal, State, and local levels Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in overseeing food manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while effectively managing team performance and development.
