Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Telemetry)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) that operates as an all-telemetry unit with expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3–4
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float between units as needed to support staffing demands across the facility
• Participate in weekend coverage, with approximately 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required facility modules prior to and during orientation as part of onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of PCU, telemetry, or stepdown nursing experience
• Must be able to read and respond to telemetry monitoring
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or telemetry setting
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
• Familiarity with floating between units in a multi-department hospital setting
