Fleet Supervisor

To be a successful Fleet Supervisor you will need: Approach work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset and serve as an example of living our Producers Dairy purpose and core values. Own and promote a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior. Contribute and educate others in support of our cost-conscious culture. Lead the Fleet Maintenance Team to deliver the cost, quality, service, and reliability results. Coordinate and schedule maintenance and repairs to ensure reliability of the fleet. Support and contribute to the development and success of warranty and policy programs for recovery of expenses. Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for vehicle maintenance using known best practices. Assist in the direction of departmental activities in budget cycle requirements. Lead compliance with or assisting in the establishment of programs, policies, and procedures to attract, develop, and retain a competent and motivated workforce, including but not limited to recruiting, hiring, training, engagement, performance management and coaching. Assist in the development and leadership of short-and-long-range planning activities covering all aspects of fleet maintenance operations. Excellent attendance and punctuality are an essential function of this position. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements (Qualifications and Skills) High School Diploma or GED. 3+ years of Fleet supervisory Experience Strong and effective communication, math, and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and must possess critical thinking skills and the ability to anticipate. Ability to build and maintain positive professional relationships within organization. Strong sense of urgency. Should be driven and self-motivated. Ability to adapt to changing priorities; meets deadlines and works well under pressure.
