Speech Language Pathologist

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) interested in working with elementary-aged students. This position offers the flexibility of working with a dedicated caseload of approximately 40-50 students, providing ample opportunity to make a meaningful difference in childrens communication skills and academic success. Opportunity exists for candidates with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFY-SLP) mentorship can be arranged for CFs to ensure a supportive and collaborative start. The setting ensures stability and consistency: most SLPs are placed at a single school site, minimizing the need for travel between locations. However, depending on preferences and staffing needs, there may be situations where two sites are supported to ensure cohesive therapy and coverage. Each caseload is exclusively with elementary-aged students, allowing you to specialize and hone your skills with younger learners. Qualifications & Experience: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong consideration for Clinical Fellows (CFY) with available mentorship Michigan licensure, or eligibility to obtain Experience or clinical placement working with school-aged or pediatric populations is desirable Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Passion for supporting students growth in a school setting Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and provide individualized therapy for elementary-aged students Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support students IEP goals Maintain accurate and timely documentation; track student progress Participate in IEP meetings as needed Adapt therapy plans for in-person or occasional split-site support, based on student needs If youre motivated to empower elementary students and advance your SLP expertise. #J-18808-Ljbffr
