About the Position

• Schedule & Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. No call required.

• Flexibility: Client is ideally looking for full-time ongoing coverage, but will gladly accept providers who can commit to 2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis.

• Practice Setting & Patient Load: Mixed clinical setting within a 270-bed acute care teaching hospital.

  • Outpatient Clinic: Averages 16 patients per day.

  • Inpatient Rounding: Averages 10 to 15 patients per day.

• Dedicated Support Staff: Work alongside 1 assigned clinical team for outpatient care and 1 assigned APP for inpatient care.

• Clinical Scope & Required Procedures:

  • Pacemaker Implants

  • ICD Implants (both traditional and sub-Q)

  • Loop Recorder implants and/or explants

  • Ablations (AVN, SVT, AFLUTTER)

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Fully integrated utilizing Epic charting software.

Requirements

• Education & License: Active Pennsylvania (PA) State Medical License or IMLC Letters of Qualification (LOQ) in hand required at the time of submission.

• Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

• Certifications: Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.

• Credentials: Active Federal DEA registration is required.

• Setting Adaptation: Comfortable working within an environment that includes academic and training components.
