Empower Concierge Rehab and PT is actively seeking a skilled and adaptable Floater Physical Therapist (DPT) to join our dedicated team. This full-time role is uniquely positioned to travel across various outpatient clinics in Palm Beach, Florida, offering a diverse clinical experience while providing essential support to our patients. As a Floater Physical Therapist, you will assess patient needs, design personalized treatment plans, and promote optimal recovery and mobility in a dynamic environment.

Work Environment

This position is primarily located in outpatient offices within the beautiful Palm Beach area, known for its vibrant community and access to a variety of recreational activities. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility offered for occasional weekends or holidays. Your role will require you to travel to different clinic locations as needed, ensuring that you are always present where your expertise is most required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, employing clinical assessments to understand patient capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, leveraging evidence-based practices to address specific patient goals and conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists to create a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Provide physical therapy coverage across multiple outpatient facilities, adapting quickly to different settings and patient needs.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on effective home exercise programs, mobility strategies, and injury prevention methods.
• Facilitate safe discharge planning in coordination with case management and social work services to ensure a smooth transition from clinic to home.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgical interventions, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating from orthopedic injuries. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing patient mobility and function while promoting overall wellness and independence.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible to obtain a Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida.
• Minimum two years of experience in an outpatient or acute care setting is preferred.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) is required.
• Demonstrated excellent clinical reasoning and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a variety of clinical settings, ideally with both inpatient and outpatient exposure.
• Understanding of current rehabilitation modalities and therapeutic techniques.
• Proficient in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
