Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager position is a hybrid-style role based between two primary locations: the Wolf Creek Contracting office in Waterford, Ohio, and active job sites, with the majority of time spent in the field on project sites. Remote work is not available for this position. About The Company Wolf Creek Contracting is a general contractor serving commercial, industrial, and municipal markets in states across the eastern United States. Services we provide include general contracting, design-build, construction management, concrete, civil, industrial, new construction, additions and renovations, and streetscapes. Primary Purpose The primary purpose of the Assistant Project Manager is to assist the Project Managers in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure document control and various requests having to do with project detail. Duties & Responsibilities Retrieving submittals, entering submittals into the system, and submitting. Entering time into the system for weekly timecards. Entering schedule of values. Managing subcontractor paperwork and pay. Estimating subcontractor breakout to Operations Assistant. Processing change order requests. Reviewing forms of request – RFIs, PRs, ASIs, and bulletins. Processing purchase orders. Developing take-offs. Verifying W9s, lien waivers, and insurance requirements for subcontracts and purchase orders. Tracking receiving tickets and balancing with purchase orders. Assisting Project Manager in project close-out. Setting up all new projects in the accounting system and in project folders. Qualifications Degree in construction technology or related field desired but not required. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office. Excellent communication skills.
