R&D Verification Engineer, Medical Devices

Hired by Express Employment Professionals for a leading medical device innovator in Madison, WI

• Pay: Starting at $40/hr+ (commensurate with experience)
• Schedule: Full-Time | 6-Month Contract (Potential to Extend)
• Location: Madison, Wisconsin

• Can you coordinate multiple test streams while mentoring interns and partnering with fellow verification engineers?
• Do you thrive in environments governed by quality systems and medical device regulations?

• Lead verification and validation efforts for new product development and product lifecycle/design changes.
• Write and run test protocols; capture results; prepare test reports; manage requirement revisions and all associated documentation.
• Organize and align testing activities with interns and other verification engineers to meet project milestones.
• Uphold quality system procedures and ensure conformity with relevant medical device regulatory requirements.
• Support broader R&D engineering initiatives and project tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of engineering experience.
• Prior experience in medical device testing is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with medical device compliance frameworks and regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Comfort juggling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

• Sit or stand for 8–10 hours per day.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Maintain close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
