Job Description
Registered Nurse - Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit

Schedule

This position requires 5-8 hour shifts, primarily from 07:00 AM to 03:30 PM, unless previously agreed upon. Availability on holidays and every other weekend is expected, and scheduled weekends off cannot be approved without prior coverage agreement.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients in the Inpatient Addiction Rehab Unit. This role includes training to charge nurse responsibility and could involve floating to similar units within the hospital. Adherence to the hospital's uniform policy, which mandates navy blue scrubs for RNs, is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring patient health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current State License as a Registered Nurse.
• Completion of all onboarding documentation including health assessments and background checks.
• Certifications and vaccinations as mandated, including MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, TB, among others.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
