Production Planner I

As a Production Planner I at Honeywell, you will play a key role in supporting the supply chain planning and execution processes to ensure efficient production scheduling and material planning. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to balance supply and demand, contributing to the timely delivery of products and overall operational excellence. The position is based in Eatontown, NJ and requires an on‑site work schedule. Key Responsibilities Review sales orders and contract details, create shop orders for shortage review, and submit material requisitions for procurement. Monitor material receipts and inventory levels, identify and resolve kitting/production conflicts, and update schedules and production teams as needed. Review engineering change orders and coordinate with line leads and stockroom personnel for release of updated documentation, and process any material changes. Review and analyze expiration dates of consumable products, coordinate with various departments to understand usage, and issue material requisitions to replenish safety stock and meet shelf‑life demands. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production planning processes. Qualifications Willingness to learn. 2‑4 years of experience in materials handling or planning. Experience in materials planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of material requirements planning and inventory management principles. Experience with materials planning software and ERP systems is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
