Atwood & Hillhouse CPAs PS is looking for a talented and driven Tax Manager/CPA to join our team in Spokane, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of complex tax engagements, lead client relationships, and grow your career within a respected public accounting firm. Responsibilities:
- Manage and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Provide tax planning, consulting, and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio
- Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior tax staff and associates
- Research complex tax issues and communicate findings clearly to clients and colleagues
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
- Monitor tax law changes and assess impact on clients' tax strategies
- Assist with IRS and state tax notices, audits, and correspondence
- Active CPA license required
- 5+ years of public accounting experience with a focus in taxation
- Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning
- Experience with individual, corporate (C-Corp/S-Corp), partnership, and trust returns
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
