Growing together.The Department of Weight & Lifestyle Medicine at Atrius Health is looking for a Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM) physician who is ABOM-certified to join our growing team. We are a collaborative, innovative group of clinicians, passionate about helping patients achieve healthier lives through evidence-based obesity and lifestyle medicine. We value professional excellence, teamwork, and compassion and we are looking for someone who shares these values.Primary Responsibilities:Provide direct outpatient care for patients with obesity and related conditionsDevelop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating behavioral, nutritional, pharmacologic, and bariatric surgical therapiesCollaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioner, dietitians, and partnerships with psychologists and surgeonsProvide 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per weekParticipate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activitiesStay current on advancements in obesity medicine and bariatric careYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)ABOM CertificationProven excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentCompensation for this specialty generally ranges from $238,500 to $392,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
