Role Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Operations Lead for a 6-month engagement to drive consistent, high-quality execution of procurement activities and operational deliverables. This individual contributor role is focused on ensuring procurement runs effectively day-to-day through strong process discipline, improved tools, and reliable delivery of key outputs. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in execution, brings structure to ambiguity, and ensures work is completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive completion of core procurement activities, including intake, sourcing support, and contracting coordination.
• Ensure work is delivered accurately, on time, and aligned to defined processes.
• Establish consistency and discipline in how procurement work is executed.
• Reinforce and refine procurement workflows to improve efficiency and clarity.
• Identify breakdowns in execution and implement practical improvements.
• Lead the organization and maintenance of a centralized contract repository.
• Improve visibility into key contract data such as terms, expirations, and obligations.
• Partner closely with stakeholders in Operations, Finance, Legal, and Engineering.

Required Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Experience with SAP PO/invoicing.
• A strong track record of operational execution and process discipline.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and prioritize ongoing workstreams independently.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a cGMP environment.
• Familiarity with MAS requirements and procurement compliance standards.
• Experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of document control, audit processes, or financial tracking.
• Experience improving procurement operations or processes.
• Experience working in fast-paced or evolving environments.
