Mobile X-Ray Technologist (ARRT) Home Visits
Location: Woodmere, Long Island, NY Job Type: Full-time or part-time Pay: $55$65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Work Location: On the road; patient homes
We're seeking a dependable, patient-focused Mobile X-Ray Technologist to perform X-ray exams during home visits in the Woodmere and surrounding Long Island area. This role brings diagnostic imaging directly to patients who need care at home.
What You'll Do
- Travel to patients' homes and perform portable X-ray examinations
- Explain procedures and help patients feel comfortable
- Position patients safely and capture clear, diagnostic-quality images
- Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and applicable standards
- Complete documentation and transmit studies for interpretation
- Maintain portable imaging equipment
- Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, and the care team
- Manage assigned visits and travel between locations
What You'll Bring
- ARRT certification required
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist license required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong patient-care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized while traveling
- Portable or mobile X-ray experience preferred
Compensation $55$65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
